The Active Carbon Filter is designed for the effective removal of organic contaminants from water and aqueous fluids.
Unlike coalescer filters, which only separate hydrocarbons, carbon filters adsorb dissolved organic compounds and residual hydrocarbons, delivering treated water suitable for reuse or further processing.
The system can also be configured for gas filtration, removing vapours such as hydrogen sulphide, ammonia and amines, typically found in biogas applications.
Active carbon media ensure the effective removal of dissolved organics, hydrocarbons and trace contaminants from water and process fluids.
The filter can be backwashed using reverse flow of the filtered fluid to remove trapped particles, prevent clogging, reduce pressure loss and eliminate carbon fines generated during operation.
Suitable for both water treatment and gas streams, including biogas, where removal of vapours such as hydrogen sulphide, ammonia and amines is required.
Designed to provide stable performance in demanding industrial environments, ensuring consistent treatment efficiency.
Active Carbon Filters provide reliable treatment solutions in:
Power generation
Industrial processes
Oil & Gas
Desalination
Chemical and petrochemical industries
