Static Filter

The Duplex Filter consists of two separate simplex filter housings connected by two 3-way change-over valves.

It provides a cost-effective and proven solution for applications where continuous filtration is required and process shutdown is not acceptable. Based on well-established technology, it ensures reliable operation, high dirt holding capacity and uninterrupted service with limited investment cost.

By switching the valve, one filter remains in operation while the other can be cleaned or serviced, guaranteeing continuous flow.

Main features

Dual housing configuration with change-over valves

Two simplex filter bodies are connected through 3-way valves, allowing the diversion of flow from one housing to the other for maintenance without process interruption. Simultaneous operation of both filters is also possible when required.

Continuous operation with safe and simple valve handling

The Filtrex change-over valve is designed for safe and easy operation without special tools, ensuring smooth switching and operational reliability.

Wide range of filtration degrees

Filter media are available in multiple filtration ratings to meet specific process requirements.

Flexible materials of construction

  • Basket material: Stainless Steel AISI 316L
  • Cartridge materials: Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Fiberglass, Cotton and others on request
  • Housing materials: available in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex and Super Duplex.
