Filtrex has developed the ACB filter to be practical, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective. This tailored solution meets both current and future requirements for seawater filtration. This achievement is the result of Filtrex’s significant commitment to research, design, and resource optimization.
No other filter on the market can match the performance of the ACB filter in handling high TSS levels, ensuring reliability, optimizing filtration and backwashing efficiency, and offering durability, ease of operation, and minimal maintenance. Since 1982, Filtrex has installed thousands of filters worldwide, all based on the same proven operating principle.
The filter operates continuously, providing a precise filtration degree. Its armored stainless steel filter element withstands high differential pressures without issue. The filter body and internal components are made entirely of ASTM B148 C95800 bronze-aluminum alloy, ensuring durability under strict quality control standards and full approval by all major classification organizations.
The ACB filter operates effectively with high TSS, offering great filtration efficiency (up to 6 μm). It also features a reduced backwash flow, which optimizes water usage while ensuring efficient filtration. The filter element has a high regeneration capacity, cleaning in just a few seconds, and provides a long service life.
The filter’s bronze-aluminum alloy construction ensures high durability, even with improper maintenance, and eliminates the need for painting, which can easily be damaged. It’s made of just a few components, making maintenance simple, fast, and accurate.
With compact dimensions in both height and footprint, the filter fits even in tight spaces, including the backwashing pump that is directly connected to it.
The ACB filter is entirely manufactured in Filtrex’s Milan (Italy) factory, ensuring top-quality craftsmanship. It applies an established technology with proven experience, backed by a large stock for fast delivery.
The filter comes with an IMO-approved manual, ensuring it meets international standards
